I have a 2017 sgs in charcoal denim and I am blacking out the bike does anybody have pics of flat black forks on there bike or gloss black if so can you post them

 

 

I'd go matt black myself.

 

What tone are you doing on the rest of the bike?Some flat contrasting against gloss might look pretty good depending on which peices you do.

 

This is what I have so far I'm going to change the inner fairing to charcoal denim and I have the same dilemma on the bars

 

All the 2018 street and road glide Specials have black front ends, I’ve never see one in a matte, can’t imagine it would look all that great, but who knows

 

Since the engine/exhaust/paint is flat, I'd do shiny black for everything around it including handlebars.

You don't want it to look like someone just murdered it out with krylon. Needs to have some contrast. My opinion.
