There are no adjustments for the 17s or 18s there self adjusting HD did away with the adjustment. There hydraulic now just have to get use to them. There are some after market kits you can purchase that allow a adjustment but there costly.

Is here the answer : The clutch cable is supposed to be an automatic adjustment now. You pop the red clip

out... make your adjustment behind the derby cover like normal... and then pop the red clip back in.

Thanks

no worries, figured it out
just in case if anyone else is wondering.. following is how you do it. apologies for the wrong terminologies in advance.

1. undo the leaver from the handle bar.
2. pull cable slightly and un-hook from the lever.
3. pull white plastic cylinder from the lever and free the top of clutch cable
4. lift up the cover for the self adjusting bit (you will see yellow internal with red button.)
5. gently push the red button out from the back of the botton.
6. lift up the little brass tab upwards from the inside of the yellow internal bit..
7. gently crack and separate top of yellow bit (its made out of 2 pieces)
8. you will be able to push the cable down and un-hook 2 cables away from each other.

Hope this makes sense and is helpful for someone out there

Beware !
The yellow housing is actually two pcs. The (taller) lower section is thin and flimsy where the two pcs. join.
Sure enough mine was cracked from the showroom but cable still working. Since I was changing handlebars I replaced the upper cable with a longer one.
The yellow connector is included with 2018 HD upper clutch cables.
The new modular upper clutch cable with compensating spring is clever but the plastic connector won't stand the test of time in my opinion.
