Default Update

After having the dealer replace the Seal,Oil (#11000134) and the Spacer,Sprocket Shaft (#29900041), I took it out and after about 200 miles I had to add trans fluid again. I took it back and the tech was told to "drain, fill, ride for 1000 miles and return." After only 260 miles, trans fluid didn't event register on the dip stick.

The GM of the dealership heard about the issue and stepped in. He told me he was going to make some calls. He felt his dealership and his customer (me) shouldn't be their experiment case. He would rather they send a new motor and take mine to experiment on back in Milwaukee.

As of today, the motor company is considering sending a tech to Hawaii to investigate. In the meantime, the GM has offered me a rental bike to use while mine is in the shop. He is not comfortable with me riding my bike when the gearbox could lose it's fluid and the whole thing lock up on me.

What "parts" are they sending to remedy this issue? Up to this point I didn't think they knew what was causing the migration problem.

I can't confirm the build date because the bike is at the dealer. I ordered it in April, it was scheduled to be built in May. It left York on 6/17/2017 and I got it on 7/16/17.

I agree you have an excellent dealer. It sounds like he's trying hard to keep you as a happy customer.

HD does not a have a freaking clue what there doing,,, none. The only sure fire cure will be Baker. And if Baker has a problem they will take care of it unlike HD.

Same with the oil pump and sumping issues, HD is out in left field picking there nose and eating boogers. They haven't a clue whats going on around them.
