Radio Lock Up
OK three times in the last few weeks, after a phone call, I will press END on the screen and the radio will LOCK UP... I have to turn the bike off for a few minutes before it will go back to normal.
The radio works fine with GPS/ USB stick for music/ CB and calls... this lock up only happens every once in awhile.
Is there a fix ?? Should I bring it into the dealership, and when I do... It will not happen....

The infotainment system is a joke. HD has had issues since it's inception in 2014 and they still have not got the software right. Mine will not shut off until 4-6-8 tries. It will say shutting down in 3 2 1 and then stay on. I have had 3 of these systems and they all had this issue. Some of the software updates have made it worse, and the latest one deleted the outside temp/oil check unless the unit is turned on, was not that way before.

Naaa on the iphone. I use an android and it locked up on me yesterday. But it seems that all In the industry, cages also, are having problems. I don't know why they just use the same principles as a garmin for the car .. built into a water tight package for the bikes and autos.
And the software needs to be enhanced to allow individual operation of each componet. Muting the radio shouldn't mute the nav and phone.

What software version are you running? Would be the first question.
Many are quick to bad mouth the the system but issues like this happen with every on one the market. My fancy *** Sony in the car has it's own issue with some devices.
That dam Sony cost more than the one in my Harley.

Actually, you can mute just the music by lowering its' volume. This will leave the radio & nav volumes where you set them. The Mute/Power button works for the entire system, so you have both options; individual function mute or all functions mute.
