This isn't the CVO seat, but rather a rebuild of my stock seat from MCC. Totally different ride now - loving it!

Mind sharing details? I'm still thinking of taking mine there for a similar mod with the contrast stitching and all.

Did it help the comfort of the stock seat a great deal?

Did you have them modify the riding position any?

Cost wise, was it cheaper to go this route vs buying the CVO seat/pillion combo discussed here? I REALLY like the looks of that CVO seat, but 600 bucks is too much right now.

Thanks.

Thinking about ordering this seat for my 2017 Road King Special. No reason why it won’t fit is there?

Pretty much same bike as my street glide minus the fairing so I would think it will fit but not positive. I've got a small gap at the bottom of the tank console where the seat doesn't go all the way up to it but it's not a big deal. I would also check your rear fender for any paint damage from the stock seat, if you are not leaving it solo then that won't matter. I've got a small rub mark on each side of my tank from the stock seat, these marks are visible because the new seat doesn't cover the same footprint as the stock seat. I also have a small rub mark on the top of each side cover also from the stock seat, these are visible now as well. I tried to polish these out and it did help some but not all the way. Not telling you all of this to discourage you from buying, just passing along as a FYI. Good luck!

Thanks for the info. My bike has only done a few hundred miles and then the endless rain started so no marks from the stock seat yet.
it looks a great seat, exactly what I’m after, i was all set to buy a Corbin Hollywood solo but the fact this one has a good looking Pillion seat may swing me.

I have a stock SG seat I used at 1st because the CVO seat wasnt as comfortable for me and I liked my SG backrest. It also fits a little different from my CVO seat and passenger pillon at the tank and rear fender. Didnt want any rub marks on the tank and fender as I thought Id be swapping the seats back and forth depending on road trip, so I put the 3M clear paint protector film on those areas and trimmed to fit the contact areas for each seat. Looks just like the clear film on the side covers.
