Default M8 Clutch slips

I had some clutch trouble as some of you know, when service tore it down they found a bad actuator and clutch plates and replaced them.
They rode tested it and said all was good, I take it out for a run and I find the clutch slips in 5th, example.........You are going 55 MPH and you roll on it to pass someone, bike slowly gains speed and tach REDLINES !!!!
What can be causing this, Im told by service just ride it a few days and if it continues bring it back in ???
Anyway as all you folks that ride a M8 knows the strong point of the M8 is the pulling/torque, anyone experience this ?
The hydraulic clutch has no adjustment, so what could it be ? I doubt the friction plates need to mate to quit slipping but.............

Truthfully Its hard to tell about the other gears, they seem to be slipping some, but it is obvious in 5th.

That's a strange one. I haven't anything like that happen. Hope you get it solved because it ain't right. My Ultra comes with a slipper clutch, as I believe all the M8's do, but it's still not supposed to do that.

If the clutch were slipping badly you would feel it in any gear. It may be just starting to slip and might get worse? Keep us posted.

Sounds like they didn't find the root cause of the problem. Unfortunately take it back in.

Bike stated slipping bad on he way to the dealers, I was talking to the owner and he said his 2017 Road Glide Demo did the same thing.
Anyway they ordered some parts and they have my bike, and gave me a Heritage to ride while they fix mine.

It may not be that strange at all. It's an M8 correct? Check your trans fluid. Check your primary fluid. Many (MOST) M8s are dumping trans fluid into the primary. Besides the fact that you are then starving the trans of fluid, you are also WAY overfilling the primary. An overfilled primary can and will cause fairly severe clutch slipping.

Overfilling the primary can also make it difficult finding neutral and will make a louder bang going in gear.
