Default '17 Road Glide Special

Anyone have one? I'm thinking about trading in my 2012 Road King for a new RG in the Velocity Red. What do you think of them? Why a Road Glide over a Street Glide?

Dealer is offering $21,750 cash out the door for it. Is that a good price?

I have the Kuryakyn Bluetooth speakers on the King but the last year or so have been wanting something with a ferring. I love my King but sometimes it just gets to be a pain in the *** to get some tunes going. I always said that if I could go back to 2012, I'd get one of the Glides with a ferring instead of the Road King....

Just kind of an upgrade I guess.

A new bike always puts a big smile on your face.

But a detachable fairing with a complete audio can solve your wanting tunes if that appeals to you. Some can work with you on equipment. Some hard bags to change it up a bit as well.

I did a lot of research on adding a ferring last year. Still would rather go with a new bike.

I can't say that I went from a RK to a SGS...because i kept the RK, white just like yours....i did it because of the advancements of the M8 over my RK...even though i changed cams etc etc on the RK......i will make my RK into a solo and the SGS into the family station wagon......
Oh love the new '17 SGS....torque and response.....they are just 2 different bikes...

I test road a road glide and a street when I was shopping. The salesman claimed "oh the road glide will ride so much better". Not sure that's really true, but personally I just like the looks of the road glide better. The fixed fairing took me a bit to get used to but I love the bike.

I ride with a friend that has a new street glide, its nice Besides the fairing which I think the RG gives better wind control and the reason I bought one, not much difference.
Roadglide has dual head lights street glide single.

I just bought a Velocity Red RGS last week in the metro. Hard to tell how the price works out since I did a trade and had some stuff thrown in. Got book value for the trade and 12% off the bike and some other stuff we agreed to. Need to walk into more than one dealer prepared to commit and/or walk out.

Good luck! Loving mine!
