Default ok, here's the deal

I have a 2017 road Glide that I like, with the exception onf the front wheel tire, never did like low profile tires.
I remember when radial tires come out, never cared for them I always thought they looked like they were low and needed air.
So a friend of mine bought a new 2016 Road King and bought new wheels for it he likes the spoked wheels, so he give me the front off his 2016 Road King which we thought would fit, It don't by about an 1/8" the brake rotor screws barely touch the fork on the left side, right side clears.
So without getting into more money[changing out the fork]etc. I thought I would search for some flat head bolts which would supply enough clearance for the tire/wheel to fit and fit right.
Now your opinion, forget this and buy something that fits or find some flat head bolts ?
Thanks men...............Joe

PS If you have some sarcasism or troll crap just move on man, Im looking for honest input.

I have a set of wheels off my 2014 road king, they are Identical with my 17' Road Glide rotor and bearing spacing. I would suggest you re-visit your wheel spacers and ABS Non ABS.

I'd of lost that bet for sure.

Which is cheaper, a different set of wheels or fork replacement?

I'm having a duh moment. I would of bet money it would have been a bolt on. If flat/recessed bolts would give you the clearance,,, thats what I would do. if the disk and caliper line up correct and the spacers are right. New hardware would be it.

Thanks men, your input has me giving a harder look at the wheel, I got the original back on because of some riding out of town .
As soon as I get back I'm going to take a long slow look at this with pics, and report back.

If its ABS to ABS it fits.Like wise if its non ABS to non ABS,it fits. Now,if its ABS to non ABS you need to change left side bearing which is 3 mm difference in thickness.

I put some CVO wheels with ABS on my 14 RK non ABS and had to buy spacers or change the bearings, bearings were like new so I ordered bearing spacers from a company and they seemed to be 1/8" different from memory. Left front and right rear bearings were different.
