Default New M8 stage IV

I got a new 2017 Road Glide a couple weeks ago, and purchased it with the stage IV upgrade, street tuner, screaming eagle exhaust and intake. Initially the dyno run had it at 112 HP, 100 lb-ft torque. They assured me they'd get more power out of it at the 1000 mile tune-up. Had that done today, and we got 114.38 HP and 103.22 lb-ft of torque. Nice, but nowhere near the 120+ HP, 112 lb-ft of torque, dyno sheet HD shows on their own product page for the stage IV kit. My dealer tells me it's because you can only do so much with the street tuner, but I feel like if HD is advertising it that way, we ought to be able to achieve at least that. Am I complaining about nothing, or is there some way I can contact HD corporate and get a resolution to this?

What did your stage 4 entail? Seems to mean different things to different people lol. Also, got a chart?

I dont know what to tell you except that it took about 5000 miles for my stage III to loosen up and run like it does now.

Thanks sixguns. I was hoping someone would say exactly that.

What constitutes stage IV? https://www.harley-davidson.com/stor...e-stave-iv-kit
Notice the picture of the dyno sheet on that page. Attached is my most recent dyno sheet.

Jebus mate! I mean not all dynos are equal and every day is different and all that but your low end is a mess. I would not be happy with that at all. A basic stage 1 fuelmoto is putting out a much better chart.

That's to be expected on the low end with stage IV. On the product page they don't even show it under 2.5k and at 2.5k it's lower than stock.

I got 106 tq at 3K rpm's with a SE Stage 1, 86 hp but to me a big V Twin is about tq low not hp at higher rpm's..it get's up and goes great for a rather small expense and non intrusive performance upgrade

With the stage IV, you've increased piston diameter without changing stroke. You're going to move the torque curve up the RPM range. You're giving up very little on the bottom end to increase it everywhere else. I'd make that trade every time. Look at the comparison dyno sheet.

Depends on what you want I guess. I wouldn't trade my 2500 to 3000 for 3-4..... plus that chart is a harley ad. Have a look at fuelmoto charts to see what you can do for a lot less.

I only live an hour from FuelMoto. I've seen their dyno sheets. I still have a warranty. If I had gone there I wouldn't. And FuelMoto doesn't do anything for LESS.
