New M8 stage IV
#51
Do the cam anyway. I have the stage 4 with a TTS mastertune and sent it out to a tuner. Only 119 hp and 112 lbs of torqe at the rear wheel. I believ e Harley's numbers are at the crank not the wheel. Its false advertisement. I'm doing a Tman 226 CAM or the SE 447 and a Fullsac header and 2.0 baffles. Forget the warranty. The bike is gutless unless I'm in the range of RPMs where I'm getting 27 miles to a gallon. Check out Fullsac Performance. He has played around with the stage four and using the different Cams to get the torqe all the way across the board. I believe he hit 130+ lbs of tourqe with the 447 cam. Although Harley doesn't recommend it I say the hell with it I want a bike I'm not redlining all over the place just to have the power. Below is a snap shot of what Fullsac has on their page.

I do know where you’re coming from. It’s the reason I really liked what I saw when Fuelmoto put the wm8-22x in a stock CVO 117”. Just remember that the stock 117” is only 10.2:1 compression. Even with that compression, with the 22x the intake valves are closed at 22 degrees abdc and it develops 217 psi cylinder pressure at sea level which is the same as the M8 107 with the stock cam. I would bet that this is a very streetable combination.

Nobody does but it should be close,I at least got 122 hp and 114 tq,Road King Special stage 4 SE high flow W/Street canons with cat removed from the muffler and TTS master tune
Before muffler mod and getting rid of the se tuner was 115 hp and 113 tq,Both at the same dyno and tech doing the tune and in SAE not STD
Also the speed limiter came in at 105 mph wich means a stage 4 would only work about a third of the way through 4th gear and its done
