And that's why I didn't waste my money on a special and got a regular street glide! The only thing that's good for is telling you where all the harley dealers are, what a joke.

Not even good for that. Visalia Harley Davidson and Henderson Harley Davidson it gave me wrong direction to.
I always tell people it will get you there, just not necessarily the same path or as easy as my Fords nav unit, iphone or my older Gamin unit does. I do wish it was easier to use and didnt require a long learning curve, but those that use it regularly appear to have it down ok. Got quite a few route preferences that can really throw you a curve ball if you have it set differently as expected.
Yes it will tell one maybe twice where to turn, but, by touching the screen it will repeat the directions, did you know that? So far i found it ok.......radio needs attention, maybe I need more speakers and biggr amp
The whole system seems to be put together by a 6 year old in the early days of electronics. Just pitiful. . . .
It's true. The boot up time is sloooooowwww as is the time it takes for the navi to acquire satellites. Clearly an indication HU/Navi was manufactured with older/cheaper computing chip sets. In bake offs between Indian and HD, this has come up several times as a weakness. Navi is slow when there is a quick set of turns..example...left then first right. You end up missing that second turn and then it takes so long to recalculate you end up missing the alternate route as well.
Agree with the previous post that Garmin would have been a better choice. Love the bike but somethings are incredibly annoying for what we pay.
