Bassani 2x2 headpipe, Thundereader mufflers, Arlen Ness monster sucker intake and powervision tune.

Looked at their website, says the 2x2 only fits stock or Bassani slip ons, also says uses the stock crossover pipe, is that correct?

This headpipe will mount any slip-ons that mounts to a stock headpipe. Right side is larger than the left. Yes, use stock x-over.

I decatted it without cutting and welding. It took me about 2 hours, long drill bits and a long chisel. For the slip ones, I used B&E Super Flow slip ons. They take stock mufflers, gut them and install new packing and baffles (I used 1 3/4"). I think the mufflers were about $165, the rest was sweat equity! I know it's running cooler now.

I went the same way as HD Fan but mated my Bassani headers to a pair of 4 inch Rineharts and did the cam at the same time so only needed one dyno tune.......sounds fn awesome and goes like a rocket now.......97 HP / 109 ft/lbs TQ.

The Bassani website has a few errors for the product but as above these headers fit any muffler that will mate to the stock headers. It does use the stock cross over tube but there is a "power chamber" near the junction that better equalises flow to both mufflers compared to stock setup.

I went with a freer flowing head pipe and it was a wake up call on sound but be prepared for your power to come in at a different RPM , I lost some torque in lower rpm but gained in higher rpm , was it worth it yes for my riding style, and it was a stage 1 complete tuner,AN Big sucker and 4” big Louie’s with 2 1/4 baffles,my head pipe is the Rush 7017 HO

Well, I dropped some coin on mine. I figured I'm going to have this bike a while and wanted it set up right the first time. At first I bought the V&H OS450 and immediately noticed I lost bottom end and the sound was horrible, not to mention a vibration that came on at 2800 rpms. V&H refunded my money and I did a ton of research. I ended up with Fuel Moto Jackpot 2-1-2 Header and S&S MK45s, plus the Woods WM8-22X Camshaft. Let me tell you, it's a completely different bike and it's a beast. Best yet, it's a sleeper. Love it and have no regrets!!

The Jackpot header, S&S MK45s, and 22X cam is a killer combination and one we recommend often. Great power, especially strong early torque, and great sound at a reasonable “touring friendly” tone. You picked a good one there.
