After taking a short ride yesterday, I later saw plenty oil on the underside of the bike, and on the ground, cleaned it all up and started the engine, after it warmed up some, oil poured from the oil line connection at the case.
Replaced the spring clamp with a stainless screw clamp, problem solved.

Had previously planned to go to the dealer to get the recall checked today, just happened to start leaking yesterday, still going when the weather clears, they owe me a quart of oil, and a clamp.

WTH a spring clamp on a pressure oil line?

Yeah, when the service guy told me the crimps look ok and the spring clamp "is what it is", I asked the same thing... A spring clamp?! He didn't think anything of it.

Attached a couple of pics;

Yep they changed them. The crimp type clamp can only be used once, when you remove it it becomes no good.

Side note, coming out of the crankcase housing where the spring clamp is holding the hose to the nipple, that nipple is actually a check valve as well, as the transition from case to flexible line. I can see the thinking by the manufacturer that limited pressure on the hose be applied as not to damage any part of the nipple and risk binding the spring inside the nipple. Plus, A bunch of crap must come out of there to get the most common style of crimping tools into that location. Then there is having to remove the crimped style of clamp. PIA. That alone can bind the spring.
Still, I do not like anything about this situation and mine is going on the lift first thing in the morning. I gotta see that check valve and dream up a better way. I do not like relying on a spring clamp if it is a simple bulge on the nipple. This is a "no fly" situation for me...

I forgot to mention, the oil line also rubs on the regulator bracket, had a divet in it already at 1400 miles, checked another bike, same thing. Turned the hose some on the fitting and used a piece of spiral cable wrap on the hose to protect it.

Anyone know if this is correct or needs fixing? Looks correct to me as that last bit looks to be the 'lock' on the clamp?

The pressure clamp is insane. Going to replace that one.

Mine was scheduled for a 5K service Tuesday. Went out and checked it, oil all over the underside. I'll drop it off tomorrow on the way home from work.

That clamp has been crimped, whether or not the crimp is tight enough can be determined by trying to rotate the clamp with your fingers.
I work with a lot of these clamps in auto repair, I like them more than the screw type because they look neater and take up less space. However you can only use them once for the most part.
