Default 2005 lower fairing fit 2017?

I was just thinking......dangerous, I know.......I have a set of vivid black lowers that came off of a 2005 Ultra Classic. Does anyone know offhand if they will fit on a 2017 SGS? The part numbers are different, but I would expect that because of the vent mechanisms being different. I am just wondering if they will fit without extensive modification?

TIA for the help

Lon

Default Tried old style knock offs, didn't fit

I ordered a knock off set in the old style because I like the look better. They said they would fit. They did fit for the most part, but to long in the bottom ( Came in contact with brake reservoir ) I could have trimmed them down, but was unwilling to do it. I ended up exchanging them with the newer style. New style fit like a champ.

So I am gathering that they will fit with minor modifications, is that correct????

Thanks

Everything appeared to if I would have trimmed the bottom some . I couldn't fit it in because the lower piece contacted the brake reservoir. If an inch or so was removed , it would have fit.
