Most likely caused by the camber of the road surface. You guys ride on the wrong side of the road, right? I bet if you rode on the right side of the road, you'd tend to drift to the right.

I often take my hands off the bars while riding straight and level at 75, just to rest my arms on a long ride. The bike will tend to drift around, affected by the road camber, as well as prevailing winds. Getting a large bike to run straight for any length of time with hands off the bars is pretty much impossible.

First and really only thing that comes to mind is perhaps your rear wheel is out of alignment a little.

Another item that comes into play is the left side of bike is heavier than the right, note primary and internals.Really don't know why riders like to take both their hands off the bars and bring up these problems.Too each his own I guess.

It's not impossible to make the bike track straight. I've ridden every bigger I've had for over 50 miles at a stretch w/o touching the bars. If it's not the road ridden. Then two possibilities:
1. Incorrect distribution of weight on the bike
2. Front and rear tires not aligned properly

I've actually never had a Harley that didn't pull left a wee bit.

IMHO - Alignment or tires, no other choice! You'd have to have a way obvious weight distribution problem to cause a "drift".

As far as never having a Harley that tracked true and straight, !
