Unhappy New 2017 RG Ultra

Bought a new 2017 RG Ultra yesterday. Was riding it home, the check engine and coolant lights came on. Uh oh. Was less than 5 miles from home, so I backed way off and limped it home. 47 miles on the ODO.

Checked the coolant level after the bike was cool. The reservoir was completely empty. Never saw any leakage, so not sure if it was not prepped correctly - which I doubt, or if it puked out while riding (likely).

Any idea if there was damage done? I'm sure the dealer will fix it, but I want to know if any possible damage could've occurred.

i would call the dealer, have him pick it up, take it back to shop AND do the dealer prep that they always want to be paid $435 for !!

they need some customer satisfaction groveling.............

You put a lot more faith in your dealer than I do. Prep at most dealers means paying some shmuck 10 bucks an hour to make sure it looks right. When I took delivery I found a few loose bolts that weren't even hand tight
