A common core frame would ruin either the Dyna or Touring line. You'd end up with a Touring bike that rode like a log wagon or a bloated Dyna for no good reason other than it's cheaper to make.

I'll buy an M8 when they put north of 100 HP on the ground, bone stock. It's shameful that a motorcycle displacing 107, or even 114 ci won't. Dam a radio.

I would venture to guess that unless you are serious about cornering, there's no need to wait for an 18 on the chance there is a new frame. I'm guessing the boards won't scrape any longer and maybe it rolls easier in the corners. If the rumor is true about a single shock system, maybe they add rebound to the shock and make it a little better ride. There are deals on 17's. Myself and a good friend got smoking deals on RGS's.

They can re-design the frame all they want, upgrade shocks etc, but if you ride the bike hard, the floorboards will drag.

HD ain't exactly known for their quick changing and evolving technology.
Indian wasn't around with a superior system then.

May be, but indian does not lead HD. It's the other way around. HD does what it does and they usually do it for years and years before bothering to change anything. HD isn't going to just abandon a multimillion dollar developed radio contracted through HK after only 4 years because somebody else has better bluetooth. Add bluetooth to the existing radio... maybe. Don't hold your breath.

New infotainment Is what I'm going with. Extended bags for touring should be standard IMHO. The bags on the new RKing special should be standard, they look good. Hoping for an M8 Heritage🤞

True Indian doesn't lead Harley at this point but they sure are gonna put a foot in Harleys *** to innovate and update. The current infotainment system was a good idea poorly executed. Maybe they will let Alpine or Pioneer step in.
