who's been having to add transmission fluid?

so, if the crank case vents into the transmission, first year ever, is it possible at high RPM's that the pressure in the trans builds up to high for the tranny vent, and spills over to the primary? Also, if the pushrod spins, it could carry fluids with it as well, but that is an old design. I do know this, it is against the law to vent any oil reservoir to the atmosphere according to our friends at the EPA. I wonder what kind of pressure is on the transmission at high RPM's. But then how does the pressure and oil carry over to the primary. Maybe it recirculates back to the transmission. Steve, is the oil level lower in the primary than the tranny, under normal conditions? If it is, that has to be the low spot on the bike....

The article is not accurate. The crankcase vents to the air filter. The breather valves in the heads are new but it still vents to the air filter the same way the Evos & TCs did.
