who's been having to add transmission fluid?

When I changed mine after a trip it seemed like the primary had a little extra in it.
Of course I had no measurements to judge it by and the transmission seemed close. I did not measure it at the time.
I have been checking it a lot . Just checked it again everything is as it should be. However the bike has not really been run over 3500 Rpms . It may have hit 4000 a couple brief times.

From now on I will check each and measure what comes out . Considering picking up some dye and dumping it in.
I had a new bike that had porous case once . It started leaking a little at 500 miles dealer looked it over did not think it was a gasket. Said ride it bring it back. Every time I parked it oil. They replaced the cases they were porous. Seems there are cavities that should not have oil in them. Porous case allows oil to seep into them then it slowly leaks out of them.

On the trip. Extend highway speeds of 80 MPH were common. In the mountains at times we are not afraid to push it and did some. Compression braking was used a lot. The trip was 3000 miles. I had changed all 3 just before we left and know they were at the right level. Dropped all 3 when I got home , no reason to measure them at the time. Only reason I dropped transmission was to switch it over to Spectro as I always do.

Not disrespecting REDLine heavy used in the right application it is an outstanding product. Ever try to pour REDLine heavy at 30 degrees ?

Redline heavy is to thick Used it in off road bikes in heat. It would like not show up any way in small amounts mix in primary lube. Spectro GL 5 is also bright red. The older GL 1 is green.
