who's been having to add transmission fluid?

Right on. I didn't have a sport bike but I did have a 2012 Kawasaki Concours which was pretty fast but not at all as comfortable for long rides or for my wife.

October 7 Update:
Service brings bike back out and I was advised that the MOCO has no fix at this time and need to return every 1000 miles for fluid checks and adjustments till further notice. Tech visit no longer scheduled. This info was after service called for guidance......... Gee, so if you take a long trip you need to find a dealer every 1k miles for a service??? Not the answer any of us were looking for and sure does not give me any confidence in the MOCO. Seemed as though the dealer service was as surprised as I was with the MOCO answer........
Like to hear if anyone else gets this answer on your next visit for oil transfer problems..............

I'm not sure that would be the most effective test. Steve Cole has reported consistent, repeatable transfer issues and at one point indicated that 5000 rpms for 5 minutes in 2nd gear oughta' do it.
I just couldn't ever allow my bike to go through that so will just take his word on it..but your idea would be a less tortuous test to try and establish a baseline..if it does transfer then you could reasonably project it could worsen pushing further and good enough to validate the problem exists on your bike..which is all you're trying to establish anyway

I ran mine up to 5500 during my data logging. That's when I noticed my transfer. Both of our bikes would have seen similar conditions like Steve Cole on that it was run up to near red line.
Just curious...

MJ.. your bike was dyno tuned at the dealer. They took it to 6k multiple times. Your dyno chart shows they stopped the pull at 6k. Did you by chance discover this low fluid condition after they had put it in the dyno? Was your low levels after tuning?

I have had a 2011 ultra imited with the 103 engine and now have a 2009 tri glide. I have been to dealer many times with this problem, dealer does not know what is going on and has never hears of it before(strange reply, or they all do it which is true in this case I think.i would sure like to have a fix for it I like to run my tranny a little overfull makes it shift much better but it is definitely going into the primary.

In the German V-Twin forum some are reporting that the migration has stopped after changing the clutch pushrod to a larger diameter version of a former CVO model. Bellow the replacement parts:
11143 Retaining RIng
37909-90 Retaining Ring
37092-06 Clutch Release Rod
37000113 Clutch ROd End
37000112 Pushrod , Clutch Release Plate
Anybody here having solved the migration issue with replacing the parts listed above?

In the meantime while waiting on an official fix there is one thing that those with the issue may be able to do. In the auto business when something like this comes up the team charts commonality between the vehicles with the issue. So, what things do all of you experiencing this issue have in common?
- all bone stock? Stage I, II, or III?
- air cooled, twin cooled?
- ride easy, ride fast, ride like you stole it?
- hilly countryside, flat, city riding, mostly highway?
Not that this will fix anything but it may lead to a clue as to the root cause.
