Ok I'm going to wade into this thread. I haven't read the whole, but I'm about to start. So my '17 RGS was bought in May. The dealer had installed the stage 2 kit. I've been hearing a lot about this and went and took a look. On the stand, garage temp if there was fluid on the dipstick it was at the bottom of the X. Cracked and ran it for about 5 minutes with the same result and a little trash on the magnet. Take a look at these 2 pics and tell me what you see.

Cold

Ran for 5 minutes.

Just a small piece of trash that stuck to the stick. I'm guessing it's magnetic as it was stuck to it.

I know a lot of you are waiting on this so here it is. Our customer enjoyed his vacation and did not add any fluid to the transmission for the entire trip with the modifications I did. Trip was about 5000 miles, so going from having to add fluid every 200 - 300 miles because nothing showed on the dipstick to making this entire trip, he was happy with the results.

Is the problem fixed, NO. we still had a small amount of transfer. Both the primary and transmission were drained and measure and as before the missing fluid was in the primary. So the results are much better than without the modifications but still not an entire fix.

Add another bike to the list. Did my 5,000 mile service and sure enough the Xmsn was down to the middle of the marks. I had it about half way between the middle and full when I noted the level last. Opened up the primary and that is where it went. Off to the dealer this week then.
