Sorry I posted something other than tranny oil migration, I don't have the migration issue, so I will leave the thread

Correction, I did not have tranny to primary issue.
What I had was engine oil to primary issue. They changed a seal and I cant remember its proper nomenclature. Its round, about one inch diameter. It resemble a round bearing.

Engine to primary they know how to fix. Trans to primary, not so much. I was hoping you had good news for the guys that have this problem.

Overall I don't consider that an extreme usage. haven't checked the primary to see if there might have been migration from the tranny but will be changing all 3 holes soon and will report back.....
Please report back with your findings on how much you drain from the Primary..

Thanks,

I've decided to not display the tach anymore..tired of watching it too much monitoring rpms, which is ridiculous..one of these times I'd be looking at it and look up to see a deer

Reading numbers from the tach sucks.. Would like a real one that mounts in front of the bars like the early RKs used to have.. Hate the tack speedo combos.

totally sucks indeed..thought about replacing it with one of their other offerings, but tired of spending hundreds here and there..just ignore rpms, pretty much know by sound/feel where it's at anyway

HEY!!! OT post....just kidding. It was easier for me to hear / feel on my old twin cam. Still getting used to the M8 sound / feel, so I find myself looking at the tach more than I was doing.

actually monitoring your RPMs is completely 'On Topic' for this issue as a workaround until root cause is isolated and identified but I hear ya'
