Default M8 Breakout?

Wanna order me a Breakout but can't find much to suggest the M8 is going to make it to the non CVO model..

Anyone know better?

most dealerships didn't know the M8 was actually going to happen until 2 weeks before they arrived

This man speaks the truth! The internet was the first to correctly predict it. I was talking to dealers in August and they had no idea what was coming until the dealers meeting.

My personal opinion is the M8 will be in the softails for 2018. The CVO's will likely get the bigger version just as the cvo tourings have.

M8 is only in touring bikes for 2017.

Neither the regular breakout nor the cvo breakout have the M8 for 2017.

Given how Harley traditionally transitions to new engines, it is likely that 2018 will be the only big twin.

Just look at how the transitioned from the Evolution engine to the Twin Cam seventeen years ago.

the M8 to the breakout is going to be an interesting transition. the breakout is what I consider a "looker" bike. how will that big oil cooler on the m8 look in front of that bike, or better yet, how would that twin cooling (most of us call it a radiator) work.

Wow you are right on the money. The breakout is a looker bike. And I certainly do not mean that in a negative way. I had a Breakout before my M8 limited. Loved that bike. But I spent more goddamn money on that thing, spending hours researching parts, buying parts from Australia at crazy prices to get it to look even better. Which it did. Many folks did a double take when they saw it. But in the end I got only about 40% of my money back on the upgrades on trade.... I blacked out my M8 and I have not looked back. Now I spend all of my free time riding!! Ride safe.
