Thought I could live with the chrome windshield brackets...I was wrong. Back from powder coating.

Default KST 14" Outlaws on the RKS

Hey Y'all. Really loving the KST 14" Outlaws. Much more comfort for me in my neck and shoulders (6'3", long arms, 225 lbs). Grips (Harley Magnum) right at shoulder level. I do run my bars a bit forward because of my long reach which also raised the grip level slightly. I will tell you all that the short part of the wiring harness on each side got a six inch extension. Did the soldering and shrink tubing myself, easy enough no need for a kit. I absolutely received NO joy from having to pull the wires through these bars, especially on the throttle side! It was tough going!! Clutch and brake lines had plenty of length and fit quite nicely with these bars. Love the way the bars ride for comfort, looks, and handling. Oh yeah, new riser bushings of course! Looking forward to The Forge LLC finishing up my twisted steel 18" sissy bar (pics after install). 1000 miles service at the dealer in three days and then I'm done with those folks touching my bike! Hopefully no warranty work will be needed. Loving this RKS!!

That looks real nice. I'm planning on adding the windsplitter windshield to mine. Looks even better with black brackets. Would the windsplitter fit with the brackets for the aux lights installed?

New bars and a few other changes. Loving the way it has come together. Doubt I'll change much else until winter.

The answer is "yes." I relocated the front turn signals using the Bullet Front Turn Signal Kit p/n 67800167, which mounts the same way the aux lights mount. Just be sure to purchase the windshield mounting hardware kit. The only down-side is that you will have a black wire exposed on each side. I chose to run the wires toward the back of the forks and then inside the nacelle. The windshield brackets will be hidden behind the aux lights. It would probably be a waste of time and money to have them painted, since they will be out of sight.

How did you run the wires from your front signals? They don't look like they're exposed.
