I've had my stage 4 on my 18 RG for 8,000 miles. I knew that I would not appreciate the power until about 2,000 miles and that's exactly what happened. Unfortunately, the shop that did the work, there dyno was not operating so, it was not dyno'd. I put it in the HD shop this week to install the Jackpot headers and get the bike on the dyno. I think before the headers, it will be around 115 HP. No-where near the 125 advertised. I am close to my factory warranty being over so, I am going to go with a different tuner and see what numbers we can get. I NEED MORE POWER!

So I was talking to a dealer that is known for their 124ci /128ci engine builds. I was quoted the 128 build minus typical stage 1 stuff for around $8600 which includes clutch basket n stuff... I inquired about the HD 131 with different cams/tuner probably being a more cost effective way to go and they said it would never last because of piston/ring seal??? Said the numbers would be good but reliability just wouldn't be there...

Yeah sounds like a hell of a deal.... Dealer recommends pretty much anything over 130hp to change the clutch basket.. How much for you guys to do the work??

We've built in the hundreds of M8's over 130, 140, 150+HP and have yet to see an issue with a clutch basket. We can however replace it, you would be looking at an additional $120 labor, the Trask billet baskets run about $400

I am getting a 2020 RGL. I would like the HD 131 kit. Warranty issues aside. What are thoughts on the 131 kit with Rinehart True Duals and a aftermarket tuner? I like the look and sound of the Rinehart system. Seems like the True Duals would unleash a bit more power? And could the bike be put back "warranty compliant" if I change the exhaust back to the Stage 4 exhaust and put the tune back to Stage 4 tune should I needed warranty. Call me devious, just Thinkin, Thinkin, Thinkin, in my best Macho Man Voice! Thanks in advance!
