The Sony is not marine grade.
I want to look into adding that feature, in case my RDRS safety features fail and I hit a few trees

"The new triple tree deflector, guards against three times as many trees as our original design!"

On a serious note....do those deflectors really do anything? I was looking at the kuryakyn one for around $40 but wasnt sure if it did anything or not.

My Sony XAV-AX7000 arrived in all its glory today. I did some extracurriculars, like adjusting my bars while I had access to the clamp, so it took me longer than just swapping the radio, but this is no longer than 30-45 minutes if you're prepped and ready to go.

Very neatly packaged by Fat Heads

Everything in the box, complete with a pack of Nerds

Out with the old

In with the new

Yep...

Just the Sony upgrade has made a surprisingly big difference. Stock speakers won’t take much of a beating with double the power going to the now. I have speakers and amp en route but won’t be here for a month due to Covid.
