linkageless monoshock for Dyna and Touring. Double shocks gone.
larger bags on Touring without an increase in total width due to the monoshock (bags go deeper)
Updated rubber mounting system across the big twin line
modular stub on front of the frame to accommodate various steering heads
modular rear sub-frame for line-specific styling
new swingarm configurations
common rear hub sizing
These would be cool! I do like the suspension on my 17 SG better the the 2015RG I had. Bigger bags is def a plus!

Yeah, They been working on it.. Supposedly they've shrunk dome the ECM, ABS, BCM and battery to about the size of a can of spam..

It's a nice start to a wish list.

Too answer your easier question.......I have one that is "perch mount" and there are a few different makers. It works well, just have to keep it our of the way when getting gas.

Combine the Softail and Dyna line with a universal frame that will accommodate the M8 motor and production costs will drop dramatically. It's all about the bottom line.

There's more to it than the bottom line. The MOCO wants to roll out new models. Lots of new models. The current frame architecture just isn't flexible enough to accommodate what their designers want to do. Additionally, shared frame piecesparts will allow the factories to react to demand for particular models faster.

After the initial bitching and moaning phase (see the M8 rollout - JFC, the amount of bitching - smh), I think buyers will be very pleased.
