The new frame is going to be on Softail and Dyna models, also getting the M8 in 2018

This is kind of an unfair statement. I can't think of any motorcycle manufacturer that changes faster and more often than Harley. We are on our third major engine redesign in 20 years. Harley critics blame bad designs for the reason Harley changes so often. MOCO can't win.

  • linkageless monoshock for Dyna and Touring. Double shocks gone.
  • larger bags on Touring without an increase in total width due to the monoshock (bags go deeper)
  • Updated rubber mounting system across the big twin line
  • modular stub on front of the frame to accommodate various steering heads
  • modular rear sub-frame for line-specific styling
  • new swingarm configurations
  • common rear hub sizing

can you imagine a B motor where it comes a stress member of the frame? BMW does that with their boxer, not sure if HD could do it

That all sounds good, how about a larger Boombox display?

This sounds very interesting! Seems very specific so I'm thinking Randy is in the know on this. Thanks for the heads up!

As tight lipped as Harley is over premature new model information being released, this seems awful specific. Source?
