Default Changes from '16 to '17 at the footpeg mounts?

I don't have my bike yet (coming end of March), but was planning to get the Kuryakyn 4588 Relocator Brackets These
Amazon claims these won't fit the 2017 SGS, but will fit the 2016 SGS. From what I understand there is no change in this area of the bike. Can anyone confirm or deny?

Am sure it's just they haven't updated their applications chart. I've got them on my 17 limited with no problem

I thought the same thing. But the previous year footboard pans fit the new bikes, the the Kury relocators have to.

I tried to install my 4588 relocators from my 2010 CVO Ultra to my 2017 CVO Lim. They do NOT fit and can NOT be made to fit. I spoke to Kuryakyn directly. It may be 4-6 months beforehand re they have redesigned relocators that work on 2017 bikes.

There is no difference between the way the pans fit the 2017 and the previous years. I just bought the HD extended reach footboards that advertise they fit 2002 and later touring motorcycles. If the footboards will fit, so will the Kury relocators. Some folks have experienced fitment issues with them before, but almost all have eventually been able to make them fit. There are already some M8 owners who have installed them.

I have a 2017 Ultra Limited. I purchased a set of Kuryakyn 7509 Driver Floor Board Spacers from Amazon that Amazon said wouldn't fit. They bolted right on.

Trust me. The Kuryakyn 4588 relocators will NOT work on a 2017 touring bike. HD moved the bolt hole 1/2 inch from the former models. Go ahead. Buy them and see if they fit for yourself. Then you can share your experience. Lol

Yes they will. There's a couple M8 owners in this forum who have already installed them. The extended reach footboards I installed are not new for the M8. They're designed to fit any touring bike from 2002 until now. And they fit perfectly on my M8. That tells me there is no difference between the mounting hardware for the M8 and the previous years. If the pans line up, the Kury brackets will too.
