Default Help with Baffles

I'm wanting to run Vance and Hines Twin Slash mufflers this time. They don't come with baffles. Don't you want baffles in your pipes? Without the baffles the pipes sound pingy and don't get the back pressure etc. Do I need to order the separate baffles?
Has anyone run these and what did you do? Thanks Guys.

Cool, there's a line in the description that says; "baffles" the answer reads "no". So I figured that there was no baffles. What's up with that?

Can you show a link to what you are seeing? Here is direct from the product description on the V&H site for the Twin Slash round slip ons

A new take on our best selling classic, Twin Slash Rounds offer a large 4-inch diameter muffler body with an all-mechanical straight through louvered baffle and the distinctive Vance & Hines twin slash end treatment, all at an incredible price.

I had these and took them off after a week. Too loud even with the teeny little "quiet" baffles. I couldn't hear the radio either. After and hour or so they made my head hurt. Of course I am 51 with tinnitus so my loud days are over. I probably would have loved them 25 years ago. Depends on what you are looking for. Good luck.

V&H sells a guite baffle for those, not sure if it would have made the difference you wanted but it's an option

Not sure what you are seeing. I put those exact same units on my wife's bike. They took out the louvered baffles and installed the quite baffles (a real pain in the ***). She hates loud bikes but wanted a more "Harley" sound. She loves them. I measure the decibel level on her bike and my M8 with street cannons (my street cannons had 700 miles on them). Decibel level was the same. Seems like the exhaust note with V&H w/quite baffles is deeper.
