Tool Roll?
#11
These make for an excellent bag that fits in the bottom of the saddlebag that nothing else fits into. Then you still have the same room left over for your other stuff. Pretty neat idea. I bought the bags and put my own tools in.

Can't much cheaper than this one from Home depot which I use.
http://www.homedepot.com/p/Bucket-Bo...0004/205070675
It looks fairly good but who really cares as it is always in a bag on the bike. Heavy canvas so it is durable and has enough room for all the tools etc..
I basically used the tool list from a Cruz H3 set as a starting point and added a few things. I have a friend that has a Cruz H3 and to me it is an excellent choice as it will have most of what you need to get you rolling. Instead of paying the $100 for the Cruz set I knew I could stock a tool roll primarily from duplicates in my tool boxes.
Here is a list of what the Cruz H3 contains
3/8", 7/16", 1/2", 9/16", 10mm combination wrenches
8" adjustable wrench
Locking pliers
5/8" (16mm) spark plug socket
1/8", 5/32", 3/16", 5/16" hex keys
T25, T27, T40 Torx keys
6-in-1 screwdriver with bits
Mini ratchet
3/8", 7/16", 1/2", 10mm socket set
2" ratchet extension
Spark plug gap gauge
Electrical tape
Mechanics wire
Threadlocker
Tire pressure gauge
Zip ties
If you are looking for a tool roll that "looks good" and is functional there are many choices out their motorcycle specific. This new one from biltwell looks great

I have not seen that particular one in person but have seen some of the other things the guy in TX that makes it has done and they are great looking and high quality. Here is a bigger version of it on his website
https://www.motostuka.com/collection...ante-tool-roll
Both of those IMHO would be great looking, well built tool rolls but my thought is why spend $100 for the roll that stays in your bag and is not seen if I can get the same function for $15 at Homedepot.
If you are looking to buy a roll with the majority of tools you will need for simple road side repairs the Cruz H3 is excellent. However if you are like me you likely have all the tools in duplicates already so just pull those and find a roll that makes you happy to store them in

I got this one to throw in my SGS bags. It's Okay and has come in handy a few times. A little room to throw an extra leatherman/multi tool, some zip ties and such. http://www.revzilla.com/product/wind...FRCqaQodv3kFqg
Dealer had this one and did not have the HD kit from catalog in stock and this was $30 less. Didn't wanna rob from my regular tool box.

I use bicycle tool bags.. the ones that strap to your handlebars. obviously i don't strap them on but perfect size for storing them in saddlebags. very cheap, durable and waterproof.
I use the Bell Stowaway 300. Got mine at Walmart. Paid $9.00 bucks for it. Looks like a mini lunch box. zips all the way but opens with a wide flap so you can get to things quickly. also allows you to store loose items like washers, clamps, tape, etc. even has a small carry handle.
I also like to assemble my own collection of tools. I make it a habit of working from just the tool bag whenever I'm doing regular maintenance or repairs. If there's a reason to go to my tool chest than I make a note to put that into the tool bag. ultimately most of your basic tools will come from the tool bag. lessen the worry of being stuck on the road without the right tool.
