So I finally pulled the trigger this afternoon and signed on the dotted line for my new 2017 Road Glide Special in Vivid Black! I decided to bite-the-bullet and get everything I wanted wrapped into the financing so I wouldn't be nickel and diming parts later. I'm stoked to see what it looks like once it's all finished. I think it'll be just the right balance of chrome and black without being too shiny and without being the played-out blacked out look. I like the stock wheels so I opted not to get different ones. I've never been a into rims anyway. I also ordered a 3" SoftBrake extended brake pedal and a 2.5" Sofbrake extended shifter to accommodate the extended footboards and my size 13 feet. Planning to do the Kuryakyn footboard relocators as soon as they make some for the 2017s. I already have a Long Ride 13" Thresher shield on order to replace the stocker.

Most of it I did, but some I didn't. I chose to have them do the stuff that could get scratched or anything I felt would be a warranty issue later down the road. The small easy stuff I said I would do myself.
