Anyone doing the breather bypass on your M8?

I can attach the hose under the bike to either dump to ground or fasten and use one of small bottles.
On that side of the engine the small tubing is hardly noticeable. I don't even have the bottle yet to try so that picture is as far as I got. I used a 3/8 rubber grommet from Home Depot in one 7/16" hole that was slightly enlarged. With the hose installed onto the "T" fitting it is a nice tight fit into the grommet passing through the backing plate.

My plan is to run the 3/16 ID TUBING between the cylinders protected with a short piece of THIS, then down at the transmission shifter to the frame rail.

Do not think the heat shield would be needed, where your tee exits run tube down between pushrod tubes rear cyl then maybe a p clip off a case bolt to direct down if needed ?

If you're asking about my air cleaner, those fittings are stock with 3/16" ID hoses. I tried some different ones from Harley and Amazon that didn't reach deep enough to make a good seal, so just patched the stock ones in.

Edit: If I keep the hose on the right side of the bike I can lower the point where it exits the backing plate so less up hill travel for the front breather hose.
