The hose on my bike is routed right against the push rod tubes AND the engine block (below the oil filter) and has no issues at all.
Excellent thank you. Sounds very similar how I plan to run mine. I thought the breather bolts alone (for my FLDE)would be enough... but after some long hard highway miles I get some drips and the wind wicks it a bit into my air cleaner cover. I think most would not worry about it... but I plan on some long trips in the heat and don't want to obsess over my oil levels and/or potential mess being made on my air filter lol

I like the look of that hose. Where exactly does the hose terminate? Open ended or catch can or filter?

Yes, the black braided fiber hose will start melting around 350*, even at lower temps it will get wear marks if rubbing against something.

The stainless steel braided hose will tear up chrome, powder coat, and whatever else it touches.

I used to run a lot of the black braided fiber hose myself. It was difficult to install, and I did not want to worry about it getting wear marks from rubbing, so now I mostly use the plain rubber hose. Although, I still am running the Black Fiber on my Softail. Really like the way it looks.

Parker used to make that push-lok hose in black, and it is high heat resistant. What size are the fittings for this? 1/4" ID? I was going to look it up

Why not spend a little more time and work to run em up, back and run it down the frame and behind the trans out of sight?

Are there stealth breather bolts with tubes that run upward like that? DK has them for twin cam but not M8. Using the regular breather bolt's and just looping the rubber upward is more noticeable than downward imo
