Anyone doing the breather bypass on your M8?

The hose that comes with the DK EBS Kits will not melt if in contact with the push rod tubes. Never seen it melt against the fins either. I suppose if the engine was running far too hot for it's own good, the hose may melt/deform if held tight against the fins.
The hose on my bike is routed right against the push rod tubes AND the engine block (below the oil filter) and has no issues at all.

Yes, the black braided fiber hose will start melting around 350*, even at lower temps it will get wear marks if rubbing against something.
The stainless steel braided hose will tear up chrome, powder coat, and whatever else it touches.
I used to run a lot of the black braided fiber hose myself. It was difficult to install, and I did not want to worry about it getting wear marks from rubbing, so now I mostly use the plain rubber hose. Although, I still am running the Black Fiber on my Softail. Really like the way it looks.

Are there stealth breather bolts with tubes that run upward like that? DK has them for twin cam but not M8. Using the regular breather bolt's and just looping the rubber upward is more noticeable than downward imo
