6.4 OZ . Its a 2 stroke oil container. The thing fits snug and wont budge.
So far, no effect on running ( a though was, it might have caused a choking effect being so big). It pulls all the way to the rev limiter.
I just made sure the clear hose going into it, is far off the bottom otherwise it would get blocked off by any oil that collects.
That's genius! I wish I had thought of that. Instead I bought this little do-dad from ebay awhile back.
It's shaped for a Rushmore intake but I re-purposed it after picking up my 17. It collects oily vapor like a boss.

Thanks.. I credit it to good bourbon and not throwing anything out,LOL.! Hey, your's works too and that's all that matters. Oil on a brand new bike just wasn't cutting it.

I like it.. A good way to have a smaller catch and still breath.. Gravity will drain the oil out of the foam.. Needs a drain on the bottom tho..

I have found most of the smaller catch cans don't work. It might help if there is some breathable foam inside the container to catch and allow drip into the container but the outside fillers simply catch the mist and eventually drip..
Bigger ones work but I still open vent them out and away from the bike.
From what I've seen, ring seal and motor crankcase seal big difference in how much a motor mists. Might want to check those causes. Motor crankcase seal is a big one.. The valves in the head need to be working well and the motor can't be pulling air in from outside the motor. I've seen a lose dipstick ans blown cylinder base gasket cause the head breathers to bleed.
Are you having the any of the tranny to primary transfer issue?? Any mods to the motor?
I have to admit that I've been lucky, my M8 RK has a stage 2 kit (stock mufflers) and breather bleeding hasn't been an issue. Still others cans have the issue..
Only running stage 1 and no tranny to primary transfer issue. I envy your good fortune. My previous harleys (Sportster 48 and Softail Slim S) also puked out a lot of crap. Anyway, here's a picture of the blowby making its way down the tube into the catch can. I took the picture at a rest stop after 75 miles on the turnpike. I put on a total of 300 miles today and will check the can after the bike has cooled down.

I like that do-dad! I wouldn't mind doing the same. I tried to find on EBay but no luck. You by chance have a link?
It looks like a sponge.
And it should work just fine at letting vapors through and catching liquid. But will the hot vapor still interfere with the cool air drawn in by the intake?
