well that oughta' work! honestly tho, I just can't imagine going to that extreme for this issue..certainly an eyesore..how many bikes, years and miles are we talking about that remained in the 'working as designed' config without suffering from related problems.. how much of a real world problem is it I guess

Like I wrote, I'm experimenting. Going to ride tomorrow with a mix of highway and backroad twisties in the PA mountains. The last time I rode out there I came back with a nice coating of crap on the right side of my SGS that blew out of the holes on the top of the dinky DK catch can. This set up will definitely keep everything contained. If it works, I'm going to remove the red filter and run the line back to the intake and use black hoses instead of the clear one.
Bigger ones work but I still open vent them out and away from the bike.
From what I've seen, ring seal and motor crankcase seal big difference in how much a motor mists. Might want to check those causes. Motor crankcase seal is a big one.. The valves in the head need to be working well and the motor can't be pulling air in from outside the motor. I've seen a lose dipstick ans blown cylinder base gasket cause the head breathers to bleed.
Are you having the any of the tranny to primary transfer issue?? Any mods to the motor?
I have to admit that I've been lucky, my M8 RK has a stage 2 kit (stock mufflers) and breather bleeding hasn't been an issue. Still others cans have the issue..

I went back to my home made design. Oil free for 500 miles now.
