Why did you take off the R/R pipe? I liked that one on it. I wouldn't feel bad tearing into a new bike.Well, maybe in the beginning..But as long as your four legged buddy says its a go.It's a go!
Enjoy!
Why are you going with the 114 kit? There are much better options out there if you not worried about warranty & you're way past that point anyway. Very nice looking bike, well done.

What are the better options you speak of? Anything twin-cam is immediately disqualified.
Suburban HD has a bolt on 120" piston & cylinder kit, Bob wood & several others will have cams out in the next month or so, there will be lot's of options available by this spring. I think 125 hp & 135 tq will be possible with stock heads, all for about $2500 pus install, labor should be about the same as MOCO kits.

OK. So there's NOT better options "out there" if they haven't been released yet. The 120? Maybe. Depends who you ask. And will the M8 heads bolt onto the current jugs being manufactured by aftermarket vendors?
The 120 kit is available now, what don't you understand about "bolt on".If you need it tomorrow you can use the HD cams & springs, there are already quite a few exhaust choices available, so what more do you want. The MOCO has never been the best choice for mods, keeping the warranty is the reason going that direction, their kits are pretty good for the M8, so go do whatever you want, that is if you ever buy a M8.
