Finally getting my yearly upgrades Installed before Sturgis
This will be my last time to Sturgis for a while, getting kind of old, but we are making Yellowstone a part of it this year, so it wont be so boring.
2017 RGS
Upgrades: Going from stock wiring/cabling with 13" handlebars to 16" bars with new hydraulic cables and TBW cable. Also adding the heat deflectors under the seat, rear of engine, see if they help pull the heat off her legs and feet. Adding driver backrest, finally! But with a pocket for her. Then finally, adding some new shocks to the rear. I cant find a comfy zone with the stock ones, and I hear about how great after market ones are, so I'm going to give it a try. Going with Harddrive Bazooka 12", fully adjustable, didnt see me spending 650-800 for the ones everyone's running and the reviews on these were just fine for me to go with.
While I am doing this, going to readjust my amp levels too. I have anxiety over doing the brake and clutch cabling and bleeding. Talked to my friend who used to be a service tech, he said I can do it, and he is a phone call away if something doesnt go right, So I feel better now. lol
I'll post some pics and review of the shocks.

I put some SE mufflers on. They sound fine for my liking. I bought a tuner but am waiting for the diagnostic cable (should come with the tuner). I did not replace the air cleaner so not sure if it will need any change in tuning. The tunes available are for a stage 1 with mufflers and air cleaner. There is no popping on de-cell...

My cable came in today. I will hook it up and get a baseline anyway to see where I'm at. I have the SE tuner and 6 pin cable.
