According to THIS they are closed.
I highly doubt that or there would be word rippling through the mountains.
Sorry BC, I didn't find a menu anywhere but they are burgers, ribs, chicken, country cooking, salads.. just a great place to eat, small and neighborly like Green Tomato's kind of place.

Dave, thanks for the code, mount is on order. I like the idea of it being mounted on the mirror mount and keeping the bar clean.
Alex, Barrett sound fine with me. We will probably be coming across 120 to Marietta so just pick a spot and we'll meet you there.
Sherry informed me last night that she is thinking about coming so there is a good chance I'll be riding two up as well.

I'll have a nice sized cooler with me so if you want to keep it fresh fer yer tummy there should be plenty of room. There's still a chance the Turners Corner Cafe may be closed or we may find another place to eat. Guess we'll just pay it by ear.
Bill... glad that worked out for you. The only issue I have with mine is the screen brightness. Tough to see where you are going in the sunlight.

I decided to call Turner's Corner to check to see if indeed they are open or closed and their phone is no longer in service and I found another comment that they are in fact closed. Damn! Okay, so I guess we need to explore other lunch options. Personally I'd rather avoid the traffic in Helen but that's just me if that's our best option. Or, what about eating in Dahlonega, Suches or Cleveland?

Hummmm... OK
Thinking of our route leaving from the WH at 10 will put us near Cleveland around noon. (We can take at least two breaks before Cleveland) We will be blowing through Dahlonega around 11 or just before and coming back through Suches around 1:30 or 2:00 if we don't stop for vittles near Cleveland. Of course this too will depend on break times. If we stop in Cleveland to eat then we don't see Suches until around 3 which puts us back in Cumming about 4.
Another 15 minutes north of Cleveland is Helen and it will still be lunch time. Yes, the traffic will suck at best and the pie hole places will be packed as well.
Should we concentrate on the Cleveland area restaurants?

As to eats in Cleveland, here's a list:

Okay, ran across this and am throwing it out there:

Yeah, I know it's too far for us to go on this trip, but if there's a road mentioned that we might want to check out, say so. Todd and I stayed in the Tanglewood Cabins just above Helen back when we were dating and they're great. Might have to try to do that again in the fall so I can finally get back up around the Lake Burton area that I've wanted to do for so long.
Anywhoo. I like the idea of stopping in Cleveland for Lunch and skipping Helen altogether if no one minds.

Not so hot. Evidently there's been a falloff in quality.

I'm sure we'll find something. Might be worth trying Glenda's instead: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Restauran...d_Georgia.html
