Thanks, GG.
I suppose I could have asked if it was okay to join in........... but that wouldn't have been as fun as hustling...... haha.

Same here BC. I never know about any of these routes. It's awesome to ride with people that are knowledgeable about the nice places to ride around here. Looking forward to the ride.

One thing about riding in the mountains to find a new route is you either find a road back to civilization or you find a road to an old whiskey still. Either way you're going to have a great time.

So where are we meeting up? Cumming WH like before? 9:30-10:00A?

Where are we stopping for lunch? Turner's Corner? Helen? Someplace else?

If we're not going through Helen, do we want to take 115 over to Cleveland and down and back to 400?

A little feedback please.

For those who don't know where it is... it is at the corner of GA Hwy 20 (sometimes called Canton Hwy) and Swanee Drive. It is not the WH at GA 400 exit 14... it's at the foot of Swanee Mountain 5 minutes up Hwy 20 towards Canton.

Where are we stopping for lunch? Turner's Corner? Helen? Someplace else? If we leave at 10 then we will be at Turners corner just before noon. We can have an early lunch there. For those who haven't been there it's a cool little country restaurant at the intersection of Hwy 129 and Hwy 9/19 just past Dahlonega. If we pass Turners Corner we will be in Cleveland 20 minutes later and Helen 15 minutes after that. Where ever we eat we should eat and move on. If we eat at Turners Corner we can then go left and follow our nose to Russell B Parkway, back to 75 Alt, south away from Helen and back to 129 and grab Wolf Pen Gap headed home via Suches. OR, we could do this in reverse. It would make a figure 8 but what the heck.. it's beautiful country and we would be passing Turners Corner twice.

If we're not going through Helen, do we want to take 115 over to Cleveland and down and back to 400? Just my .02 but anyone can ride Hwy's anywhere. Staying on back roads through the country would be my vote. If we get lost then I'm headed to the old Whiskey Still. I'm sure Todd and I will have GPS if we make a wrong turn.

A little feedback please. You knew I would post this didn't ya?

I agree with the Wiz in that we should ride the back roads. I get enough of the hwy(s) during the week!

There use to be a BBQ place out side of Cleveland we went to that had some really good BBQ but it has been years since I have been up there so I'm not sure if it is even there anymore.

It's what I was after though. Is it exit 14 or 15 on 400?

Turner's Corner for lunch and then a figure 8 back down and stick to back roads works for me. Got to order Todd's handlebar mount and waterproof cover for the Nuvi, then he's set. Loves having it in the car.
