Stayed there two years ago. After about an hour of rain it was a mud pit. No electric, or running water. Porta-johns got pretty rank.
Your best bet is Lake Griffin State Park, about a mile or two north of Leesburg. Try www.reserveamerica.com. You might get lucky and find a site available.
