no more flashing trust me. i think these tires have a thick sidewall so it doesn't allow it to go totally flat, it runs on the sidewalls. but we felt it right away and started to slow down. it was freaky though, but its good to know about the tire. so because of this i am getting a tire repair kit and i can of compressed air to carry with

 

BDM, remind me at Earl's to show you what I carry for fixin flats. Just picked up a new kit that's pretty slick.

 

JD put air shocks on the sporty.. Seems to have made a world of difference, but can't wait to try her on a long trip... Still want my Deluxe though...

 

Caroline, you and christie can go shopping together for your deluxe. she about cried today at fletchers when she saw her black deluxe on the floor. i had to pry her hands off of it. hey what that sounds familiar. i told her when we get back from NC she will do the motorcycle course for sure.

on another note back on the road again, fletchers harley got me right in and out, new tire is on along with new brakes while i was at it and road tested. putting some miles on the bike this weekend

we are all set up here. had a great practice run today. meet up with north central left coast division chapter today. scoped out the go kart track today for the cookout. we all took off to go to zephyrhills for some LUNCH. shifter linkage broke on me,grrrr. put back together with some trusyt zip ties. made it to an indy shop and back on the road we went. they say things come in 3's well my 3's are up now. 1, tire blew, 2, i dropped the bike this morning and 3 the linkage broke. so my bad luck is gone now.
dave if i am correct we are meeting you guys at the first gas station on the right, right after 75 on the east side right? about 9ish?

 

Sorry guys, i will be missing this one. I had my weekends confused and tomorrow is my sons first peewee baseball game. can't miss that !!

Hey Mike, i can't wait to see your new wheels.
It's been a rough 8 weeks with my wife on crutches. she finaly got the cast off 2 days ago and now has a walking boot/ cast thing. she is still on crutches but she can start putting a little weight on it. this has definately slowed down my riding lately. i did get the chance to ride this morning and man it was great !
i hope to ride with you guys again soon, it seems i keep missing them at the last minute
