I'd be happy just riding in circles in a parking lot somewhere with ya'll. C n I are looking forward to meeting everyone and relaxing. Darn Paul.. now my eyes are going to be red all day from tearing up with joy!

Okay now that we had our group hug, just a few reminders safety and security wise.
Check your air pressure and tread wear on your tires
Check / change lubes as required
Bring cold weather gear
Bring rain gear
First aid kit
I will have compressor, tool kit, tire repair kit, coffe pot, MRE's as back up if needed.
Note: Harleys run on premium gasoline, not diesel hehe

Well gang, I'm getting closer. Checked into the hotel in Cordele GA at 3:00PM. Absolutely gorgeous weather all the way up today.
Had a last minute surprise when Bob (06FXDBI) decided to join me on the way up as far as Ocala for lunch, then he turned around and headed back home. How's that for a 500 mile burger.
No worries about the bears GG, I think we have that covered.
Well 485 miles down today, and an easy 250 to go tomorrow. All I've got to do for the next week, is to get twisted and make little paper maps for Kimbo & Karen.
What's holding you guys up?

Best Western, off exit 101, 1/4 mile west of I-75. Rooms have all the amenities, fridge, micro, etc. for $59.00/night. Note, the advertised price is about $10 higher but you'll see the $59 price on the roadside billboards on 75 and they give that price to everyone. Ground floor rooms on east side of bldg. have small covered patios that I ride the bike up on and nobody b!tches. Lots of food joints and Cordele is WET unlike other places (Tifton).
To get the rooms with the patio when I book on-line, I specify on the following on the reservation:
"Handicapped - Ground Floor room required, parking lot side."
Works every time.
