Good ride cHarley, glad you included the ride on 64 between Franklin and 19/74
I will in Cashiers that week and look forward to hooking up with you guys and doing some riding.

And yea, the Highlands road from Franklin to Highlands is a must do ride in my book. There is something exciting about what's not on the other side of the righthand guardrail.

Hey that's great and may be a good place to meetup. You'll see on the map that I marked a possible lunch stop on 64 just as you're coming into Cashiers from the west. It's an old, well known, BBQ joint on the south side of the road, don't remember the name. There's a good chance we will be hungry right about that time.

The BBQ house is called the Carolina Smokehouse, been eating there since it was built. Where there is no guardrails there is just had about 6 inches of rock to keep you from disappearing over the side, lets hope we do not meet a motorhome or semi on that stretch.
Not sure at this time if I will do the whole Dragon ride. Did that loop last year with another forum member. It was 350 miles, 12 hours that day, most in twisties and my throttle hand was slap wore out.
