Hope Dave and I can make it too. Miss Patti & Paul so much (by the way, I haven't heard the octopus story) and would love to meet the rest of your crew. (We're from North Florida -- okay, Georgia).

Already, Miss Patti is counting herself out because her brother is getting re-married and wants to be there. Patti doesn't have the same amount of vacation and will have to pick & choose her days off. With that said, I am free now to ride all the way up and I can be somewhat flexible for the best alignment to a majority's schedule.
JonnyX- Seriously, you look tall enough if you are bringing bells, boots, and brass knuckles. Hee heeeeeee hee.
Carol & Dave, I miss you guys, and very much look forward to seeing you again. I guess Dave has to figure out which "horsey" to head towards the Dragon with.
I have absolute no preferences where we go or where we stay. I do well with no plans. Fingers crossed for a great turn out!!!!

I know of at least 2 members that have booked reservations at the:
Microtel Inn in Maggie Valley

Maggie Valley, NC 28751 US
Phone: 828-926-8554
Has in room WiFi
The rates there are $49.00 Sun-Thus nights & $79.00 for Fri & Sat nights.
Here is a list of some other MC friendly lodges in Maggie Valley.
The Smokey Falls Lodge in the list has rooms from $89.00 up and has covered bike parking. Has in room WiFi (satellite)
Microtel Inn in Maggie Valley

Right now, Todd and I are planning on coming up Sun/Mon to Wed, but can change that if most will be up mid to late week. Just waiting to see how that works out. The Microtel in MV looks very decent but the Smokey Falls Lodge is probably where we're gonna stay. Really looking forward to spring here.

That's great news Karen, I'm ready NOW and looking foward to seeing you guys again. 
My plans as of now are to arrive Sunday afternoon.
After some research by 06FXDBI (Bob) the Microtel turns out to have some pretty nasty reviews. He's found much better looking accommodations at http://www.abbeyinn.com/ this place is AKA http://www.maggievalleyinn.com/ they are the same place
The rooms run about $45.00/night and they are very MC friendly with in room WiFi.
I would love to do the Smokey Falls Lodge but at double the price that gets a bit too pricey for some of us staying up for the week.
