I agree and that's my thinking. We don't want to have a bunch of other outside guests at the place complaining to management when, at the end of the day, the "bikers" drag out the coolers of beer and start the party.

 \\;\\\\\\; \\;\\\\\\; I've got to ask what was wrong with last years place? Plenty to do close by,easy to stumble back to your room after drinking way to much.I admit that a fire in the community room would have been a little more rustic but unwelcome by the hotel. No dust and dirt when the bikes came and went and they sure did sound good running in between the wings of the motel. No friggin bugs( which Florida has a gazillion of anytime of the year) \\;\\\\\\;eating your *** apart,and best yet for me is a bed to lay my sorry old *** down in after I drink to much. Also on the date a little further away from bike week would be better for some.jm2cw.

Maybe I can finally post again.
I am just one person and will go with the flow.
I agree with Gordon. Good room. Good place to park the bikes. Meeting room to gather inside if weather turns bad or bring chairs outside for socializing in the night air. Good food nearby in walking distance. Group discount. We got no hassles from noise. My vote is same place.

I'll vote for Nov 8th also. \\; Same place as last year is fine with me. \\; Easy striking distance to Marion's horse country, plenty of back roads to wander over.

The fish camp idea is a good one, but there are a lot of "dumps" that won't accommodate a BIG turn out.
