He would start celery on a seed bed then transplant it into a more suitable soil so it can mature into a strong product worthy of the intended use. I agree with Kimbo.
My late dad has grown more celery in the Glades than anyone. He would start celery on a seed bed then transplant it into a more suitable soil so it can mature into a strong product worthy of the intended use. That is how some "transplants" turn out here in Florida.
