Coming to the UK
Hello from a cold but clear day here on the little island of Jersey UK.
Is anyone coming here for a break this year.
I would be happy to meet up and go for a drink or 2 and show you this little gem of a place.
I'm sure the local chapter would try hard to make you welcome, and if ever we get off this rock for a break I will try and contact new friends from the site and meet up with you.
My wife and I are hoping to get to the states this year for a couple of weeks. I tried to emigrate their last year but I was either to old or I didn't have enough money in the bank (even though I was going to try and start my own business their).
Here on Jersey you can't have your own business unless you have lived here for more than 5 years, you can't buy your own property unless you have lived and worked here for 11 years. So you have to pay double rent to the locals that have several properties.
Starting to waffle now, so its your turn to speak.
I am happy to tell you more.
