They did the same thing at Clematis in West Palm Beach, they use to have a Thursday bike nite and then our mayor L. Frankel killed that. Look where Clematis is now, the area is dead. Yes we as bikers can make a difference.

Maybe all of us South Florida riders should get together rent mopeds/bring bicycles and rally (protest) on Atlantic Ave. Have special HD t-shirts made up......Is this quiet enough? Make a mockery of this riduculous upcoming regulation.A hundred bikers dressed inour finest leatherswill draw plenty of media interest. I know reporters from the Palm Beach Post and Sun Sentinel and am sure the TV media would want to cover this as well. If one city gets away with it, others will follow.

 

Could you imagine a long hair, beard wearing, fully decked out in leathers riding a bright red tri-cycle..... I think that would get a lot of media attention.

 

I'd like to be there also but I'm leaving Tues. AM to head up to Dragon land for 2 weeks. I'm just glad that 06FXDBI (Bob) seems to have his teeth in this. Thanks, Bob

 

06FXDBI, xcellent letter. Delray is a bunch of wannabe Palm Beachers. They also have cop bikes, does this mean their own police can't ride on 806?

 

For those that want to attend the city commision meeting, it is scheduled for Tuesday the 16th at 6:00 PM. There is rally of MC riders planned outside of City Hall prior to the meeting. (according to report onWPTV)

Yeh, I'll leave my tricycle home, but you should know it has 16" apes on it. sweeeeeet......lol
