Aight, after meeting a few from here Friday night at MB, it has come to my attention that we need to have an offical HD forum weekend when there isn't thousands of other bikers down there.

Plan something for a long weekend...check in thursday or friday , do some riding and bar hopping (rat hole, sbb, beaver bar, dog house, hooters, etc.), depart Sunday.

Either do something the weekend before Thanksgiving or the first weekend after Thanksgiving.

If there's enough response, I'll be happy to search and try and get us a block of rooms.

Post up here if interested...I know it's a little while down the road but it'll take a lil time to get all the details worked out.

 

I'd be interested, but can't say at this point whether I'd be able to make it or not. I definitely can't do it the weekend before Thanksgiving though. It would be great to have a get-together down there, though, when there isn't quite such a big crowd.

It was a bit "busy" this past weekend.

Oh yeah the stupid stunt of the weekend...2 guys on sport bikes doing fronties side by side....at "The Dog House" burn out pit...which is nothing more than some railing sqaured off and people packed around. All I could picture was someone loosing control and clearing out the crowd...[:-]

 

Im interested for sure.....my nephew manages the Summer Winds motel amd could prob get a deal on some rooms.....you can google it and see if ya think its nice enuff or just go with something else....I hate to mention a place then alot of people think that it stinks lol.....which it might....I havent stayed there yet lol

We can take a look at it. I stayed on 21st and it was pretty central place...not far from north myrtle (the dog house) and not far from the rat hole or either one of the SBB's. And right down the road from Hard Rock.

Im about 5 hours west of ya right on the border of Va/Nc.....thinking I might have to trailer down till the weather gets nice then ride after I get there

Here is a link to the motel.....says 1900 south so Im thinking this was with in 2 blocks of where ya was............Again I have NEVER spent the night here so...........I cant say how nice or ratty it might be!!!!!

I'll be watching as we get closer, I would love a chance to extend my riding season and meet a few listers. Unfortunately alot of my plans have to be last minute but you never know
